Scope and Content: Newspaper, clippings, ephemera, and digital media relating to the efforts of several individuals from Cadier en Keer, The Netherlands to honor the memory of American soldiers who gave their lives in the liberation of the Netherlands and the rest of Europe during World War II. In particular, the collection documents the erection of monuments in both Cadier en Keer and Mission, Texas to Mission native Albert H. Strahle, Jr., who was the only Allied soldier killed during the liberation of Cadier en Keer.

Scope and Content: Relates primarily to the land development activities of John J. and Roy P. Conway in the Mission, Texas area. A number of items are concerned with additional business activities other than real estate. There is also a group of personal and family-related documents. A small group of photographs documents mostly family activities, but includes a few business-related images also. The collection contains two books that belonged to members of the Conway family.
Scope and Content: Materials related to Civil War soldier Patricio Perez, his wife Martina, and her mother Josefina de la Garza. Other materials include writings by their descendant Delia Alaniz- including plays and historical articles. The collection includes correspondence with Hollywood studio Leslie Goodwins, Inc., La Joya I.S.D., and others.
Scope and Content: Photographs and written material relating primarily to the history and activities of the Rome family in Mission, Texas. Includes photographs of the Patrick McShane home and documentation of two fuel mileage contests held in 1927. Also includes a 1911 invitation to the blessing of Our Lady of Mission Catholic Church, 1917 Mission High School Yearbook, and list of Warren Suter’s architectural projects in Mission, Texas.
Scope and Content: Materials relating to Kenneth White’s time as superintendent of Mission from 1965-1988. Correspondence between Kenneth White and Mission CISD staff and other individuals. Clippings, news releases, and complete newspapers relating to Kenneth White’s activities as superintendent from publications such as The Mission Times, Upper Valley Progress, Progress-Times, and The Monitor. Photographs of Kenneth White and other officials and educators.
Scope and Content: Photographs and negatives of Texas Citrus Fiesta from 1953-1973 and 1958 flood. Newspaper clippings, bulletins addressed to R. B. Shary, and other information regarding the 1962 freeze's impact on citrus groves. A book, The Citrus Industry Volume I, on the history of citrus growing.
Scope and Content: Mission Times newspaper, Friday, 13 Feb 1925, containing an article regarding the laying of the cornerstone and placement of the time capsule. List of signatures on Mission Public Schools stationery. Probably names of Masons who attended the laying of the cornerstone. List of school board members. Roster of principal and teachers. Rosters of students in each of grades one through seven. First Grade, North Mission Grammar School. A roster of students as of 13 Feb 1925. Collection of poems and stories by Thomas Elmore Lucey.
Scope and Content: Land deeds from 1914, correspondence from 1997-2005 relating to Shivers estate, meeting agendas for Texas State Bank Rio Grande Valley meetings 1997-2007, financial documents from 2005, materials relating to Allan Shivers Library and Museum, photographs of Allan Shivers’ daughter, Marialice Shivers, and other materials.

Scope and Content: Thirty-two yearbooks published by the Texas Citrus and Vegetable Growers and Shippers in conjunction with their annual conventions. Years 1944 through 1980 are represented, with the exception of 1945, 1947, 1952, 1957, and 1962. Several contained additional loose materials tucked between the pages.
