This new exhibit explores the history of Mission through the clothing of its people. The exhibit will be on view from March 17, 2026 through August 14, 2026 in the museum's Annex Building.
The history of Mission is written in what we wore. We invite visitors to explore how the clothing of Mission’s past offers a window into the lives, ideas, and shared history of the those who make this community. From hand-dyed dresses to Tom Landry’s iconic fedora, the exhibit showcases how apparel both influenced and reflected the community throughout the 20th century. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to attend and discover how clothing tells the story of our city.
For more information about the exhibition, please contact the museum at (956) 580-8646.
